2006:
JACK WALKER, who has furnished THE REALM OF NEVER
with its haunting and evocative scores, is making
his cable television debut as composer of JOHN EDWARD'S
"CROSS COUNTRY," a new weekly television
series premiering on Friday, March 17th, 2006 at
10pm on the Women's Entertainment Channel. (WE)
Jack composed all the music for the series, including
theme, credits, and background. The show is captivating
and enlightening and Jack's music is beautifully
emotional. He poured his heart and soul into this
one, and we wish him nothing but continued success.
February
2006:
DARREN O'HARE ("MORATORIUM," "SCHOOL
OF HARD KNOX," "STORY OF MY LIFE,"
"PLAYING THE GAME") continues to be seen
in a national television commercial for MEOW MIX
CAT FOOD and has completed two new episodes of the
CBS Television series "THE UNIT," created
by DAVID MAMET and scheduled to air this spring.
September
2005:
THE REALM OF NEVER: MORATORIUM earned official selection
in the Fall 2005 Long Island Film Festival and screened
to an enthusiastic response at the Glen Cove Cinemas.
August
2005:
CHRISTOPHER DEL GAUDIO made a return in front of
the camera in Episode 5 of the upcoming final season
of "THE SOPRANOS." The episode entitled
"Mr. and Mrs. Sacramoni Request" is directed
by STEVE BUSCEMI and scheduled to air in April,
2006.
July 2005:
Power
of Cohesion welcomes CATE MAGRANE as the new host
of "REALM OF NEVER: THE TALK SERIES."
In the coming months, she will bring her dazzling
smile to an eclectic array of filmmaking and theatrical
professionals. Stay tuned.
Speaking
of "REALM OF NEVER: THE TALK SERIES" and
CATE MAGRANE, they recently joined forces with DONNA
DRAKE and DONNA McKENNA of "INDIES INSIDER"
to cover the opening night and gala awards celebration
of the 2005 Long Island International Film Expo
at the Bellmore Cinema and Chateau Briand in Carle
Place. Production facilities were provided by the
fabulous HUGH DALY of JHD STUDIOS in Deer Park.
121 official selections were featured with over
20 awards given in creative, technical, and performance
categories. Among the guests interviewed were the
legendary ORSON BEAN, actress VERONICA CARTWRIGHT,
actor BILLY BALDWIN, and JOSHUA SAPAN, President
and CEO of Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, a subsidiary
of Cablevision Systems Corporation. The two-part
episode is currently in post-production and will
air in late 2005 in the "REALM OF NEVER"
and "INDIES INSIDER" time slots.
May 2005:
We'd
like to congratulate JACQUELINE MURO ("MORATORIUM,"
"THE UNIDENTIFIED CRAFT,""WHITECLIFFES
OF DOVER REVISITED," and "A CROCUS BLOOMED")
on her recent engagement to DR. HAIM MISHOLY. A
2007 wedding is being planned.
March
2005:
The
latest REALM OF NEVER episode entitled "CAST
OF THE SHADOW" completed principal photography
in March, 2005. This feature length installment,
the first of the series, was videotaped at JHD STUDIOS
in Deer Park and stars EDWARD DENNEHY and JOANNE
ANTONUCCI as an extremist couple who incorporated
a village with a unique and disturbing set of laws.
The supporting cast (the largest to date) comprises
many of the Realm regulars, including PAULINE MARTINO,
JONATHAN FRENCH, JAMES DUGGAN, LUCAS
RAMIREZ,and
PATTI ZANONE; and for the first time welcomes the
talents of SUE ANN DENNEHY, GAIL MERZER-BEHRENS,
ANDREW ROTH, RODNEY HAKIM, and NIRVANI RAKJUMAR,
among many others. "CAST OF THE SHADOW"
is currently in post-production and is scheduled
for a 2006 release.
SAVION
GLOVER of Broadway's "BRING IN DA NOISE, BRING
IN DA FUNK," JELLY'S LAST JAM," and featured
dancer ("Brother Time") in BARBRA STREISAND'S
"TIMELESS" CONCERT can be seen in two
episodes of REALM OF NEVER: THE TALK SERIES in support
of " SAVE THE COLTRANE HOUSE." For more
